My sailing experience started in my youth, when I occasionally sailed in friend's dinghies and in the Porthmadog to Wicklow race (1984).

In 2021, Charissa and I sailed as often as possible and we bought our 1967 Wayfarer ‘1401, Our Tern’. We race, cruise and sometimes sleep under our boom tent. Furthest trip so far was to Llanbedrog.

In 2022 we found dear little Blue Moon, a Leisure 17, who we moored at Mochras. We took many trips around Cardigan Bay, including Aberystwyth, Aberdyfi, Barmouth, Porthmadog, Cricieth, Pwllheli, Llanbedrog and Abersoch.

Later in 2022 we found Grey Lady, a Sabre 27 and enjoyed a trip home with her to Mochras from Felinheli, with Alan Butler and Ben Walwyn. In 2023 we sailed around Cardigan Bay to Porth Neigwl, Aberystwyth, New Quay and Aberaeron.
